March 31, 1997 Virginia On Wednesday, April 2, anti-gunners in the Virginia legislature will attempt to override Governor Allen's veto of SB 763 and SB 978. If they are successful, the Board of Supervisors in Fairfax County will then have the power to ban firearms in county-owned community centers, and the system of uniform statewide firearm laws which apply equally to all Virginians will be seriously damaged.
