Assessment: optical rectumitis
Plan: Surgery


An inflammation of the films of the brain with an acute fever, causing irritability and vexation of the mind. For the most part pts cannot shake off their dread. Some have waking spells, so that they rise up and babble words without sense or order. When asked a question, they cannot answer directly. This disease is most sharp and perilous, and indeed incurable and deadly for the most part.
