Patricia Futterer completed a B.A. in Communication Studies at the University of Ottawa in 1993, and a M.A. Comm. in Cultural Studies of Science at the University of McGill in 1995. Currently, she is working as an artist and a critic with a special interest in the areas of cultural studies of technology, art and science, gender studies and cyborg research, and as a consultant for new media in Vienna.
