Das Kollektiv @c entwickelte sich aus frühen Improvisations-Sessions in Porto und einem gemeinsamen Interesse an Computer-basierter Real Time Komposition und Improvisation.

@cs Arbeit basiert auf einem offenen transmedialen Konzept, für das die visuellen Frequenzen von Lia eine große Rolle spielen. Die Komposition, die als Definition von wiederverwendbaren Strukturen verstanden wird, stellt daher nicht die Entstehung einer Partitur dar, sondern vielmehr ein Werkzeug, das den musikalischen Prozess während jeder Performance generiert.

@c formed after some early improvisation concerts in Porto and have a common interest in real-time composition/improvisation using computers.

Their work is based on an open cross-media concept, where lia, the provider of visual frequencies, plays a major role. The composition, understood as the definition of structures to be re-used, is therefore not the creation of a score but of a tool that is allowed to generate the musical processes during each performance.
